The Legend of
Beef Bronson

(as I heard it):

Once upon a time, when the Colorado State University in Fort Collins still was an Agricultural College (Aggie), and the city itself was much smaller and surrounded by farms and pastures with grazing livestock, a small group of Ki-Aikido students used to sneak out into the fields at night to practice "Extending Ki" - by tipping over the cows !

One day finally a bull named Beef Bronson got so annoyed of being disturbed in his sleep, that he traveled to Japan and asked Tohei Sensei to teach him Ki-Aikido ....

And to this day, Beef Bronson Sensei shows up unexpectedly out of nowhere to watch the Fort-Aikidokas in their practice.
