What to wear:
Changing rooms are available at the dojo. For
practice, wear a martial arts training uniform (Gi) if you have one.
Otherwise wear loose, comfortable, clean clothes. Sweat pants and
T-shirts work well - shorts are not recommended. We train barefoot
on a matted surface. Please remove any jewelry, watches, necklaces,
etc. before going on the mat. It is also recommended that you bring
a water bottle - purified water for refills is available.
Training Uniforms (Judo Gi) can be ordered and
purchased at the dojo. Ask one of the instructors or any senior
student for information.
Please arrive for the first
class by 5:40pm to register.
To allow time for changing,
please be at the dojo 10-15 minutes prior to class, thank you.
Regular attendance will always provide the best
experience, but we understand that occasionally students will need
to miss a class. If you happen to miss the beginning of the course,
it is possible to start late. Registration fees will be pro-rated
for late-starters.
